With Chinese New Year and blooming flowers approaching, the large-scale Chinese New Year themed installation 'Hanami Spring Garden' will be unveiled at the North Point Waterfront Park next to East Coast Promenade in front of North Point City from 21 January to 12 March 2026. 'Hanami Spring Garden' blends traditional elegance with modern aesthetics, creating a romantic and dazzling floral fantasyland. During the day, 'Hanami Spring Garden' resembles a springtime painting, vibrant with blooming flowers and brimming with vitality and poetic ambiance. At night, the park transforms into a secret garden of lights and flowers, where dazzling lanterns and charming decorations shine brightly, with sparkling stars signifying a brilliant and prosperous new year! The day and night views each exude unique charms, and with the Victoria Harbour as the backdrop, it is destined to become the most eye-catching check-in spot this Chinese New Year.

'Hanami Spring Garden' features soft pink and spring flower themes throughout, meticulously crafting multiple dreamy photo spots: including immersing yourself in the tranquil romance surrounded by blooming flowers, adorned with auspicious horse installations symbolizing 'immediate fulfillment and continuous good luck'; the 'Dancing Flower Garden' embraced by lush cherry blossoms; the 'Flower Pavilion' inspired by elegant garden landscapes; and the 'Flower Boat Sailing into Spring' signifying 'smooth sailing and welcoming fortune'!

During the event, the mall will also host five major Chinese New Year themed activities, including the 'Flower Rain Party' where countless flower petals will flutter down like snow, creating a romantic, picturesque scene. On Valentine's Day, there will also be a 'Flower Fairy Romantic Tour'. Simply take photos at the 'Hanami Spring Garden' and upload them to social media platforms to receive a free flower bouquet. God of Fortune will also make surprise appearances from the third to the seventh day of the lunar new year, taking photos with everyone and distributing sweet candies and blessings for a sweet and auspicious new year. On the seventh day of the lunar new year, there will be a Golden Dragon and Lion Dance performance, with loud drums and festive music to celebrate the new spring and bring good fortune, pushing the festive atmosphere to its peak.

North Point City will also host a series of parent-child and pet-friendly events during the Chinese New Year, including the 'Paw-some Treasure Hunt' where participants can collect stamps at different locations in the mall and along the waterfront to redeem exquisite gifts, allowing owners and pets to walk together for good luck. Inspired by the boundless flower sea and sparkling water waves, a graceful and dynamic new spring flower boat is meticulously crafted, signifying 'smooth sailing and abundant blessings'. The boat is adorned with layered and flowing dazzling decorations, like a dream boat carrying the soft spring light and hope, leading guests towards a prosperous and blooming new year.

Inspired by elegant garden landscapes, the pavilion is constructed with delicate latticework and classical lanterns, creating a Zen-style relaxation space. The pavilion features elegant seating where you can escape the hustle and bustle, quietly admire the dancing pink cherry blossoms, and immerse yourself in the romantic moment surrounded by gentle light and shadows.

In the center of the garden stands a majestic and vibrant giant cherry blossom tree. With the gentle breeze, falling cherry blossoms dance like rain, signifying 'abundant blessings and dream fulfillment'. The garden is adorned with several dynamic and auspicious horse installations, seamlessly integrating the lucky symbolism of the Year of the Horse, conveying wishes for 'immediate fulfillment and continuous good luck' to every guest, welcoming a prosperous and auspicious new year filled with beautiful scenes.

 On designated days during the event, North Point City will hold a special 'Flower Rain Party' within the installation, where countless delicate flower petals will gently float down like spring snow, creating a romantic, dreamlike flower ocean.
